This Friday in San Francisco, the Bay Area CoRoasters will be hosting a new installment of The Coffeewoman. Presented by Barista Magazine with support from Pacific Foods Barista Series, The Coffeewoman will continue its journey “celebrating and inspiring women in coffee” through a night of talks and panel discussions.

Taking place between 6:00 and 9:00pm, this edition of The Coffeewoman will feature a keynote address from Helen Russell, the cofounder of Equator Coffees and Teas. Additionally, there will be a panel discussions on intersectionality and career planning featuring “local coffee business leaders.”

Food will be provided by Oakland’s Bartavelle Coffee and Wine, and local beer and wine will also be available at the event. There is a suggested donation of $5 to attend the event, with all the proceeds going to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
