Latte art party, spooky, scary. On Thursday, October 26th the city of Portland, Oregon will play host to an evening of ghoulish glee, as a terrifying crypt of bone-shaking brands team up for a latte art dance of death. Your hosts? Oracle Coffee, a multi-roaster coffee bar in Portland’s SW Waterfront neighborhood. Your sponsors? A haunted cemetery of like-minded ghouls, including Baratza, Fellow Products, La Marzocco, Acaia, Black Rabbit Service Co., Townshend’s Tea, Jasmine Pearl, Espresso Parts, Oatly, and Sprudge.
Doors open at 7pm. There is no buy-in to snag one of 32 competitor slots, and the event features free drinks and pizza from beloved Portland slice merchants Sizzle Pie. Prizes include gifts from Baratza, Fellow, Sprudge, and that scariest substance of all: cold, hard cash. The throwing of down will occur to a positively spooktacular soundtrack of Halloween ear worms presented by DJ Spooky Sprudge.
Learn more and check out the event’s code of conduct here on Facebook. We hope to see you there—if you dare.
