The headline really says it all. In advance of next week’s impending G&B Coffee residency at the La Marzocco Cafe in Seattle, the two brands are hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the paved courtyard just outside the cafe. This event happens on Wednesday, June 1st and the cafe is located at 472 1st Ave N in Seattle.
The hoops court in question court sits in the shadow of the Key Arena, where Seattle’s NBA team used to play (and where Seattle’s typically very good WNBA team still plays). Losing the Sonics still sucks, but it could be worse—you could, like Kyle Glanville and Charles Babinski, be a Clippers fan.
Applications are now being accepted for hoop’em teams, and this event is totally free and open to the public. Email here to sign up your #squad and check out the Facebook event page. And hey, West Coast basketball rivalries aside, be sure to check out the G&B residency at the La Marzocco Cafe, which kicks off May 31st and runs until June 26th.
