Another year, another World Aeropress Championships season. My how time flies! It seems like only yesterday we were watching some of the world’s best pressers of Aeros brewing coffee on the beach at last year’s World Championships in Rimini, Italy. But with this year’s World Barista Championships in Seattle approaching, it is once again time for another season of raucous and exciting regional and national Aeropress competitions leading up to the big dance. Last year there were about 35 national competitions all over the globe, with some truly stunning competition posters popping up, and this year is looking to be even bigger and better.

Here is the incredibly dope poster for the 2015 Korean Aeropress Championship, happening February 7th and 8th at Coffee Libre in Seoul.

The Aeropress competition is so popular in Korea, the event is hosting a preliminary round the day before. Meanwhile down in Australia (where they’re mad for this stuff), their competition is split up into a series of regional comps feeding into a national competition. The first Australian competition is The New South Wales Aeropress Championship, happening at Paramount Coffee Project in Sydney on the 23rd of January, 2015.

Competitor tickets for the NSW event go on sale 2nd January, with more details to come. Last but not least, the 2015 Japan Aeropress Championship will be held this year in Osaka, at the really very beautiful Takamura Wine & Coffee on Saturday, February 14th. Registration for Japanese competitors is now open.
