We’ve done it, everyone! We’ve made America great again! Or at the very least, we’ve made a coffee-flavored candy, which is pretty great, and the endless need to make weird flavored snacks is a very American thing to do; I think the math checks out there.

Time reports that the people have voted, and there is now a Coffee Nut M&M.

The voting occurred between March 1st and June 17th via text message and the M&M brand’s Facebook page. Voters had to choose between coffee nut, honey nut, and chili nut, the three flavors that fared the best during focus group testing, according to Mars Incorporated’s press release. But the choice was obvious. As the name suggests, the new candy is based on the traditional peanut M&M (the big dumb yellow one in the commercials). The three potential flavors were available for purchase individually or along with the original peanut M&M’s as part of a variety pack, which means this might have been the most informed voting bloc in the history of American elections.

With the help of everyone’s favorite Bluth and Balboa Bay Window cover model Tony Hale (though presumably for his work on Veep), M&M’s announced the winner via Twitter video last week, seen below.

Coffee Nut M&M’s will hit the shelves nationwide later this month. This should give you more than a few months to stock up on the presumably non-perishable food for your fallout bunker just in case your preferred candidate doesn’t win, and the world surely comes to a crashing halt.
