Denver is a city that loves its beer and loves its coffee, so it stands to reason that it would also love its coffee beer. And they do. That’s why Ratio Beerworks is hosting the 2018 Cool Beans Beer & Coffee Festival, a one-day festival celebrating coffee, beer, and their glorious intersection, the coffee bear.
Taking place this Saturday, Ratio has teamed up with Novo Coffee to create a handful of coffeed up takes on some of their brews. Offerings include a Coffee Domestica American standard ale, Novo Hold Steady chocolate rye Scotch ale, cascara Rented World session IPA, dirty chai Hold Steady, Irish coffee Nobody’s Darlin’ blended whiskey ale, chocolate mocha Genius Wizard imperial stout, and a Bloody Mary Domestica featuring The Real Dill’s Bloody Mary mix.
Of course, there will be non-coffee beer things to drink. Like coffee. Offerings from Novo, Method Coffee Roasters, and Huckleberry Roasters will be available for attendees as well as a coffee blossom tea made from Geisha flowers.
Noshes at the 2018 Cool Beans Beer & Coffee Festival include Kentucky Hot Browns from Julep, donut holes from Glazed and Confused Doughnuts, bacon from the Bacon Social House, and coffee infused pickles from The Real Dill.
It all kicks off at 10:00am this Saturday, March 10th at Ratio Beerworks. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here. For more information, visit the 2018 Cool Beans Beer & Coffee Festival Facebook event page.
